The Diani telemedicine system helps patients with diabetes

The possibilities of telemedicine are still far from being fully used in clinical practice, although its benefits have been proven many times. In the journal JMIR Formative Research, we published the results of a 24-week study with patients with type 1 diabetes, in which we verified the effect of using the Diani telemedicine system on the quality of diabetes compensation. The result was positive, the health status of the patients improved thanks to the use of telemedicine, and the patients also praised that hey had a better understanding of their disease. https://formative.jmir.org/2023/1/e35064

In the Sensors (MDPI) journal, we published an article The Accuracy of Commercially Available Fitness Trackers in Patients after Stroke, in which we, together with colleagues from the Rehabilitation Center Kladruby, deal with the question of whether people with walking disorders can monitor their physical activity using smart bracelets. These are, for example, stroke patients who are forced to use rollators (walkers) or French crutches
